JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Join Washington State Park team members for a day filled with archaeology! From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, there will be flint knapping, atlatl throwing and other demonstrations and activities at Shelter #2 in the Big River Day-Use Area.
At 2 p.m., visitors can take a guided tour of the park’s main petroglyph site, located across from Shelter No. 1/CCC Ridge Shelter.
