PERRYVILLE – Every year, as the school year begins, the St. Vincent Educational Foundation reaches out to all of their teachers. They ask them what they need – things beyond regular budgets – things that maybe the teacher was going to purchase themself because they are so passionate about teaching.
This year, the St. Vincent Educational Foundaion was able to help out the St Vincent High School Learning Consultant, Patty Wengert, fill her classroom with some needed items.
This was the old weight room in the high school.
Patty has turned it into an area of comfort and learning.
“Patty, thank you so much for everything you do for SV! We are lucky to have you!” a St. Vincent Educational Foundation official said.
Patty Wengert expressed her appreciation: “Thanks for all the wonderful gifts! I am so blessed to be at St Vincent High School. I am so happy with my new room and I know the students are, also.”
