DED requests input for local tourism ARPA guidelines

JEFFERSON CITY – The Department of Economic Development (DED) is requesting public feedback on its proposed Local Tourism Asset Development Grant Program, funded via the State of Missouri’s share of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The $30M program is designed to support further development of high priority local tourism assets throughout the state in partnership with local Destination Marketing Organizations.

The Public Input Survey linked below will assist DED in creating the Local Tourism Asset Development Grant Program Guidelines, including minimum and maximum awards, eligible applicants, and funding priorities.

The Public Input Survey is open now, and you may provide input until 5:00 p.m. on August 29, 2022. If you are unable to submit comments online, you may submit comments by contacting DED at 573-751-4962. Complete information is available on DED’s ARPA tourism webpage.
