Jefferson College to host free outdoor family movie night August 26 – The Bad Guys

HILLSBORO – As a family-friendly way to kick off the new school year, Jefferson College will host a free outdoor family movie night with the screening of The Bad Guys on Friday, August 26, beginning at 7:45 p.m. on the Hillsboro Campus Student Center Lawn.

Everyone is welcome to attend with fun for all ages including kids trivia with prizes prior to the movie. There is no admission cost. Attendees are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

 

Food trucks will be on site selling a variety of items beginning at 6:30 p.m. They include Loot’s Lunch Cart, Luna’s Shaved Ice, and Yo Dawg.

 

The Bad Guys is based on the #1 New York Times best selling children’s book series. After a lifetime of legendary heists, notorious criminals Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark and Ms. Tarantula are finally caught. To avoid a prison sentence, the animal outlaws must pull off their most challenging con yet–becoming model citizens. Under the guidance of their mentor, Professor Marmalade, the dubious gang sets out to fool the world that they are turning good.

The College is a tobacco-free/smoke-free environment and the use of tobacco and all smoke-related products (including cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, smokeless/chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes, herbal cigarettes, herbal smoke products, hookahs, and beedies) is restricted to inside personal vehicles.
