Gilbert “Gibby” F. Goedelmann, 91, of Evansville, Illinois at 1:37 am, Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois.
He was born to the late Emil and Hilda (nee Lohman) Goedelmann on May 24, 1931 in Red Bud, Illinois.
Gibby married Fern L. Wolter on July 25, 1953 at St. John Lutheran Church in Ruma, Illinois; she survives.
He worked as a factory worker at International Shoe Company in Evansville, Singer Furnace Factory in Red Bud, and Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation in Chester.
He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Evansville, Illinois.
He loved being outdoors, especially hunting for Indian artifacts and trapping.
He enjoyed going to tractor shows and traveling to Branson, Missouri.
