Herbert A. Seemann Sr.

Herbert A. Seemann Sr., 79, of Perryville, Missouri peacefully passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born December 10, 1942 in Frohna, MO to Otto Paul and Flora Stelling-Seemann.

Herbert and Jayne L. Kreyling were married June 11, 1988 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, MO. She survives in Perryville.

He retired after 41 years as a forklift driver for Chrysler, Fenton, MO.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg, American Legion Post #133 and a US Army Veteran.

Herb was a man that was meticulous in everything he did. He loved to cook and collect precision John Deere tractors. He enjoyed helping others especially in the winter months, clearing snow off driveways in the neighborhood and during the summertime maintaining the grounds at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Altenburg. Above all he loved spending time with friends and family.

Other survivors include one daughter and two sons, Mary (Clinton) Moore, Herbert Seemann, Jr. and James Seemann all of Truth or Consequences, NM; two grandsons, Joshua (Stephanie) Moore, Nathan Moore; great-grandson, Gunner Moore; four great-granddaughters, Monique (Kolby) Brown, Myranda Irion, Reagan Moore, Kennedy Moore; great-great-granddaughter, Carter Helpingstine; nephew, Melvin O. Seemann, Jr. of Fenton, MO; one great-niece Taylor Seemann and numerous nieces & nephews.

Herb was preceded in death by his parents; brother & sister-in-law Melvin & Dorothy Seemann; daughter-in-law, Nancy Seemann; great-granddaughter Kyiah McKay-Moore.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Ford & Young East Perry Chapel in Altenburg and on Tuesday August 9 from 8:30am until time of service at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Altenburg with the Rev. Frank Lucas officiating.

Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Altenburg.
