Three persons suffer minor injuries in Highway 32 crash in Ste. Genevieve County

JEFFERSON CITY – Three persons suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash on Highway 32 in Ste. Genevieve County Friday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 80-year-old Virginia M. Tucker of St. James was taken to Parkland Health Center Hospital and 25-year-old Dakota M. Bishop and 23-year-old Taylor N. Armbruster, both of Ste. Genevieve, were taken to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial by the Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance District.

The patrol says the three-vehicle crash happened when a westbound 2014 Ford Mustang, driven by 82-year-old Richard W. Tucker of St. James collided with an eastbound 2017 Dodge Journey driven by Bishop when Bishop attempted to make a left turn and drove into the path of the Mustang. The right front of the Journey struck the front left of the Mustang. After the initial impact with the Journey, the Mustang struck the front left of an eastbound 2018 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 73-year-old Linda Long of Farmington. Long was not hurt. Armbruster was a passenger in the Journey. Virginia Tucker was a passenger in the Mustang.

All of the occupants of both vehicles were buckled up.

The crash happened about 10:22 a.m. west of Sawmill Road.
