The Ste. Genevieve Rotary Club recognized a member of the Ste. Genevieve Community as a Paul Harris Fellow.

Ollie Siebert received the recognition recently for his immense help to the club in recruiting golf teams for its annual golf tournament, its largest fundraiser. The past couple of years, Ollie has raised thousands of dollars for the club, which largely go to support local scholarships.

Ollie is the first non-Rotarian to receive the Paul Harris Fellow recognition from the local club.

A Paul Harris Fellow is a person who has been recognized for contributing at least $1000 to the Rotary Foundation, which is spent on humanitarian efforts around the world, or providing exemplary service to the club or the community.

The recognition was the club’s way of showing its appreciation.
