CHESTER – The Sewing Group of the Chester United Methodist Women donated 107 handmade Christmas stockings to the Hendersen Settlement, a United Methodist organization providing basic needs in the Appalachia area of Kentucky.

Former pastor at the Chester church, Beth Tickner, is a volunteer at the settlement and asked the group to assist in this mission.
In addition to the stockings, the Methodist Men and Methodist Women each provided a $100 Walmart gift card to help Pastor Beth fill the stockings.
