PERRYVILLE – Mercy and Perry County Memorial Hospital (PCMH) are pleased to take the next step in developing a shared vision for the future of health care in Perry County. Mercy, PCHS, and the Board of Trustees recently executed a non-binding Letter of Intent after a 3-2 vote by the Board of Trustees.
Mercy and PCMH will enter a new phase of due diligence to understand in greater detail each other’s organization and collaborate on how best to shape and expand health care in the community.
As part of this next phase, the residents of Perry County can expect to see more of Mercy and its leaders as they meet with hospital trustees, health system board members, administrators, physicians, and both business and civic leaders.
Mercy and hospital leadership will listen and learn how together we can enhance health care and share how Mercy can become essential in caring for the people of Perry County.
As part of this collaboration, Mercy will also open its doors to Perry County leaders to show how its critical access hospitals, virtual care and its entire healing ministry benefits communities seeking to grow their health care services.
