CHESTER – The Chester Police Department would like to introduce K9 Freddy and veteran handler Officer Laramore to the citizens of Chester.
Freddy is a one-year-old German Shepherd imported from the Czech Republic. He’s a dual purpose patrol dog certified in narcotics detection, tracking, apprehension and handler protection.
They graduated the six-week basic K9 team academy last Friday.
He was provided at no cost to the community by Dogs on Duty and Dowdy Dawgs.
