COVID 19 on the rise again in Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY — The number of new COVID-19 cases is back on the increase in
Missouri.

The CDC reports the number of new confirmed and probable cases in Missouri for the past seven days was 13,717 up 1,989, a 17 percent increase from the previous week’s increase..

There were 54 new COVID-19 cases last week in Ste. Genevieve County, a 100 percent increase from the 27 recorded the previous week.

There were 36 new cases in Perry County which is down 48 percent from the 50 new cases reported last week.

St. Francois County had 147 new COVID-19 cases in the past seven days. Cape Girardeau had 219 new cases. Bollinger County had 16. Jefferson County had 515.

Ste. Genevieve, Jefferson and Cape Girardeau Counties are at the high community level. Perry, Bollinger and St. Francis are at the medium level.
