Groundbreaking slated for new Perryville Fire Station

PERRYVILLE – A groundbreaking ceremony has been set for 9 a.m. Thursday, July 7th for a new fire station in Perryville.

 

The new Fire Station No. 2 will be located on Rand Street, just off Perryville Boulevard.

It will replace the existing Station No. 2 located at North West and West North Streets in downtown Perryville.

 

The architect for the new fire station is DILLEPOLLARD and the construction manager is ZOELLNER CONSTRUCTION.

 

Perryville City Administrator Brent Buerck will welcome those attending the ceremony Thursday and will introduce the honored guests.

 

Officials with the fire department and Mayor Larry Riney will speak and then the ground will be broken.

 

If it is raining, the event will be postponed to July 14 at 9 a.m.
