CHESTER – Last week football players and coaches from Southern Illinois University were in Chester to help clean up the community and then conduct a football camp for the community’s younger set.

The SIU Saluki Football Team provided a FREE Mini Football Camp for Chester kids up to 8th Grade. Approximately 34 kids attended the clinic which was thoroughly enjoyed by both campers and SIU Football players and coaches. The camp took place from 3-4:30 p.m. Photo provided by Crystal Tindall
