Matthew Wade Lorenz, 49, of Farrar, Missouri passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at his residence.
He was born March 1, 1973 in Perryville, MO to Dean John and Joyce Elaine (Meier) Lorenz.
He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Farrar, MO.
Matthew was a big Cardinal fan and commissioner of the Turkey Bowl. He was a very kind and loving person with a great sense of humor. Matthew was a very loving father and uncle. He adored his daughter Alina.
Survivors include Daughter, Alina Nicole Lorenz of Farrar, MO; Two Brothers, Jesse Lee (Dana) Lorenz of Fenton, MO, Jonathan David Lorenz of Frohna; Niece, Ruby Lorenz; Two Nephews, Mason Lorenz, Austin Lorenz.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edger & Helen Lorenz; and maternal grandparents, Bill & Elberta Meier.
Visitation will from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Visitation will continue from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Friday June 24, 2022 at Salem Lutheran Church, in Farrar.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Friday, June 24, 2022 at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar with Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating.
Burial will be at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Farrar.
