STE. GENEVIEVE – Youth Plein Air Awards were presented during the May 4th Friday at the Ste Genevieve Art Guild Center and Museum.
Congratulations and thanks to all youth who participated in the Youth Plein Air this year.
The following youth were presented monetary awards and medals.
Best of Show: Noah Kertz
Age 5 thru 8
Annabelle Grass: 1st place
Kenzie Gegg: 2nd place
Tessa Richardson: 3rd place
Honorable Mention: Mack Basler
Age 9 thru 13
Rhea Meyer: 1st place
Katherine Grass: 2nd place
Adrain Bauman: 3rd place
Honorable Mention: Gage Fallert
There were no participants in the 13 thru 18 age group.
Youth Plein Air is sponsored by the Ste Genevieve Art Guild, with a grant from the Community Arts program and individuals.
There are numerous scenes for the youth to choose at the Jour de Fete Grounds at Main and South Gabouri Streets. Painting time was limited to two hours. Participants turned in one work of art to be judged for the Awards and Medals.
