The event is fun for the entire family!” says Amanda Hutchings, Co-Owner of HFBCo. “This year, our special guest will be Hives for Heroes, a non-profit military organization headquartered in Texas. Through the national network of beekeepers and veterans, they provide connection, purpose, and healthy relationships fostering a lifelong hobby in beekeeping.”
According to Hutchings, there will be countless things to see and do.
“Join beekeepers as they discuss beekeeping, view the inner workings of an observation hive, watch a live bee beard presentation, or experience a honey harvesting. Try your hand at spinning the extractor, sample some fresh, raw honey, then do a little shopping with our numerous Farmers-Market style craft and food vendors vendors.”
The festival will offer two free concerts across from the Harold’s Famous Bee Co. storefront.
