Request for public input: Broadband Infrastructure Grant Program

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) is requesting public feedback on its proposed Broadband Infrastructure Grant Program, funded via the State of Missouri’s share of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). This $265 million program is intended to help providers and communities across regions invest in broadband infrastructure to bridge the access to service gap in unserved and underserved areas through competitive grants.

The Public Input Survey linked below will assist DED in creating the Broadband Infrastructure Grant Program Guidelines, including minimum and maximum awards, eligible applicants, and funding priorities.

The Public Input Survey is open now, and you may provide input until 5:00 p.m. on June 15, 2022. If you are unable to submit comments online, you may submit comments by contacting DED at 573-751-4962.

Complete information is available on DED’s ARPA broadband webpage.
