Mary S. (Bloom) Thompson, 77, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 at Independence Square in Perryville.
She was born August 8, 1944 in Ste. Genevieve, MO to Ted Charles and Lena Leota (Adams) Bloom Sr.
Mary was baptized in Baptist Faith. She was a former member of River Hills Eagles Lodge # 4034 in Perryville. Mary was retired after years of working as a cook at Park-Et Restaurant where she was well known for her many delicious pies she baked. Mary was an excellent seamstress and loved sewing for her family and friends.
Survivors include Daughter, Cindy (Randy) Wilson of Union City, TN; Son, Charles “Chuck” Thompson of Perryville, MO; Sister, Shirley (Jim) Jones of St. Louis, MO; Sister-in-law, Carol Bloom of Avon, MO; Six grandchildren, Grace (Chris) Thweatt, Anthony (Karli) Wilson, Dana (Danny) Griffon, Dena French and (fiancee Kyle Alexander); Travis Thompson and Hunter Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers, Douglas “Dougie” Griffard, Alice Vinson, Nova Thomure, Sidney Bloom and Teddy Bloom.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Service will be at 11:30 am Friday, June 3, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Rev. Don Estes officiating.
Burial will be at Whitewater Christian Cemetery.
