Memorial Hospital trains, certifies six new babysitters

CHESTER, Ill. – Memorial Hospital had the opportunity to train and certify six young adults in the Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) course.

Mariah Bargman, certified instructor, lead the group through what it takes to be a responsible and safe babysitter.

They were also trained in first aid, choking first aid, CPR, and what to do in an emergency.
The hospital said a special thank you to Medical Explorer Elseah Congiardo for her help with the class. She was also its photographer.
