STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve Project Pioneer will meet with the German Oberle and Operle families on Saturday, June 11, in the upstairs at the Ste. Genevieve Museum Learning Center, 360 Market St. Final meetings will take place on the second Saturday, July 9, with a second meeting in July on the 23rd to finalize books.
All meetings are at 10 a.m. Due to a lack of local interest, the group will not proceed with plans for the French Michaud and Placid families.
The families will be honored on Saturday, August 13, at Jour de Fete with attendance prizes awarded at 3 p.m. Members can participate in the family Mass at 5 p.m. in the Church of Ste. Genevieve and this concludes the Project Pioneers activities for the weekend.
