A funeral will be held Thursday, May 18, 2022 for 82-year-old Doris Marie Brickhaus of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born August 18, 1939 in Perry County, Mo., the daughter of Herman A.Brickhaus and Iona V. Hoffman who both preceded her in death.
Survivors include four brothers: Richard H (Else) Brickhaus of Kempner, Tex., Merlin (Velma) Brickhaus of Perryville, Wayne Brickhaus of Perryville, Larry Brickhaus of Perryville; a sister: Susanne (Dallas) Clifton of Perryville.
She was a nurse’s aide for St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and participated in the St. Vincent Ladies Sodality.
She also made cakes for the Perry County Senior Center.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2022 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 82-year-old Doris Marie Brickhaus of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Father Joe Geders C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
