COSL High School students go on mission trip

EVANSVILLE – Students from Christ Our Savior Lutheran High school went on a mission trip to Lutheran Valley Retreat in Florissant, Colo. recently.

At the camp the students sanded, stained and polyurethane boards.

They then put some of the boards together to begin building bunk beds.

The group removed old bunk beds out of some of the cabins and finished building the new beds.

Other students cut and laid tile and the next day grouted the tile.

The group also enjoyed many fun activities. They went on two hikes, fished for trout, swang on a giant swing, zip lined, made pottery and bracelets, played games and had devotions and smores around the camp fire.

Those on the trip were Alaina Smith, David Koester, Jon Harbaugh,Hailey Harbaugh, Charlie Rahlfs, Isaac Luebkemann, Christine Liefer, Emily Luebkemann, Aaron Kothe, Alyssa Heimann and Lisa Luebkemann.
