Air conditioning problems interrupt Classic Rock 93.1 broadcasts

STE. GENEVIEVE – Classic Rock 93.1 is currently experiencing mechanical issues that are affecting the operation of its transmitter.

These issues ultimately forced the shutdown of the transmitter Thursday night to protect it from heat-related damage.

Efforts are presently being made to correct the issue, though supply chain problems are making a speedy resolution more difficult.

Additional outages may be necessary while awaiting the proper parts to repair the air conditioning system in the building.

The management of Classic Rock 93.1 regrets that this situation necessitated the temporary shutdown of the transmitter and hopes to have the problems corrected as soon as possible “without further interruption of services to our listeners.”
