COVID-19 cases rises 14 percent in Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY — The number of new COVID-19 cases is up in the state of Missouri.

 

The CDC reports the number of confirmed and probable cases in Missouri for the past seven days was 4,016 up 544 or 14 percent more than the previous week’s total

 

There were fewer than 10 new COVID-19 cases in Perry and Ste. Genevieve Counties in Missouri this week. St. Francois County had 22 new COVID-19 cases in the past seven days. Cape Girardeau had 20 new cases. Bollinger County had fewer than 10. Jefferson County had 136.

 

All of the Missouri cases are the Omicron BA.2 variant.
