JEFFERSON CITY — Two persons were hurt in a traffic crash Monday morning on Route M in Ste. Genevieve County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 65-year-old Donald G. Wilson of Jackson had moderate injuries and was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau by ambulance and 26-year-old Katelyn N. Battreal of Ste. Genevieve had minor injuries and was taken to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital by private conveyance.
The patrol says the crash happened when a northbound 2016 Ford F150 driven by Wilson crossed the center line striking a southbound 2019 Toyota Highlander driven by Battreal.
The crash happened about 6:53 a.m. south of Gisi Road.
Both vehicles had extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
