LCFS launches ‘Win Big for Little Lives’ fundraiser

CAPE GIRARDEAU – The Lutheran Family and Children’s Services office in Cape Girardeau is having a new fundraiser this year, with the proceeds going to support the various different programs it offers that help the children and families it serves.

The “Win Big for Little Lives” fundraiser is a Raffle with three great prizes that can be won – Grand Prize is a 2022 Can-Am Defender Max Side x Side/UTV (valued over $19,000). Second prize is a 55-inch TV and the third prize is a Blackstone Griddle.

The LCFS is only selling 400 tickets and one ticket purchase provides a chance to win one of those three great prizes!

Drawing for winners will take place the Friday before Father’s Day, on June 17th.

About Lutheran Family & Children’s Services:

Everything we do at LFCS revolves around one very important goal – to ensure the well-being of Missouri’s children, including those right here in Southeast Missouri.

Our services create lasting, sustainable change in our communities. Some of the services we offer to achieve this goal include:

Crisis pregnancy services that counsel life choices and provide support throughout pregnancy and beyond.

Adoption services which support adoptive parents, birth parents and the child.

Parenting Education, which provides parents with skills to create and maintain safe and stable homes for their children, thereby reducing instances of child abuse and neglect.

Counseling to provide clients with the skills and resources needed to manage the challenges they face.

You may never meet the children and families whose lives have been forever changed through the services we offer, but LCFS wants to share the impact your support can have in Southeast Missouri!  BECAUSE OF YOU…A baby has the chance to grow up with a loving family.  BECAUSE OF YOU…A young child is saved from abuse or neglect.  BECAUSE OF YOU…A parent is learning healthy ways to cope with stress.  BECAUSE OF YOU…A family is created.  With your support, we can continue to ensure that children and families in our community become safer and stronger together.
