PERRYVILLE — Christian Layton has been named the St. Vincent High School Elks Student of the Month for April.
Christian is the son of Scott and Kim Layton of Perryville.
Christian will attend Southern Illinois University – Carbondale to pursue a degree in forestry with a focus in wildlife habitat management and conservation.
Christian has contributed to many St.Vincent High School sports teams throughout high school, including golf, basketball, track, and four years on the St. Vincent High School football team. He is a member of the St.Vincent de Paul Service Society, the Knights of Columbus and the Wild Turkey Federation.
