A funeral will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 for 96-year-old Edna Ruth Coffman of Minnith, Mo. who passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Independence Care Center in Perryville, Mo.
She was born February 13, 1926 in Perryville, Mo., the daughter of Daisy Hoffman and Wesley Hoffman who both preceded her in death.
She married Thomas N. Coffman January 16, 1943; he preceded her in death.
She is survived by five daughters: Dorothy Jean Nelson of Saint Mary, Mo., Linda M. (Special Friend Edna Decker) Coffman of Oak Ridge, Mo., Barb (Kevin) McPhail of Saint Mary, Mo., Carol (George) White of Perryville, Mo., and Diane (Danny) Brown of Perryville, Mo.; two sons: Jimmie (Linda Kay) Coffman of Saint Mary, Mo., and Mike (Tammy) Coffman of Oak Ridge, Mo; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by: a daughter: Joyce Coffman; two sisters: Lillian Griffard and Annie Cole; two brothers: William Hoffman and Dennis Hoffman; a granddaughter: Connie Lang; and a grandson: John Hobby.
She was a member of Minnith Home Makers, Sainte Genevieve, Perry County, and Marquand Saddle Clubs, Missouri Walking Horse Trail Riders. Edna loved to horseback ride and play the harmonica with several music groups.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Saline Baptist Church in Saint Mary, Mo.
A funeral for 96-year-old Edna Ruth Coffman of Minnith will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Saline Baptist Church.The Clergy will be Chuck Cole.
Burial will be at Minnith Cemetery in Minnith, Mo.
