JEFFERSON CITY — The number of new COVID-19 cases is up in the state of Missouri and Illinois and down in Perry County and Randolph County, but figures from Ste. Genevieve County have been suppressed.
The number of confirmed and probable cases in Missouri for the past seven days was 1,579 up 700 or 80 percent from the previous week’s total of 879.
The number of confirmed and probable cases in Illinois for the past seven days was 14,049 up from 10,786 at the end of last week. That’s an increase of 3,263 or 30 percent.
In Perry County there were fewer than 10 new cases during the past week, down 88 percent.
In Ste. Genevieve County the number of new cases this week was not available.
In Randolph County, Illinois there were fewer than 10 new cases which is down 75 percent.
