Mary Ann Hill

Mary Ann Hill, 85, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 20, 1936 in St. Louis, MO to Stanley and Regina (Piotrowski) Malawey.

She and Randall G. Hill were married July 7, 1956 in Ferguson.  He preceded her in death.

Mary was a Homemaker. She was in charge of the very successful rummage sale at Immaculate Conception, their parish in St. Louis, for over 33 years.  She was also extremely proud of the 25 years she spent rehabbing their home in St. Louis.  She was also “mom” to all the neighbor kids that came over to play and even some of the adults.. And she was very devout and prayed for her family and friends daily. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City, MO.

Survivors include seven daughters, Terry L. Hill and Rhonda (Douglas Joe) Henson of Perryville, MO, Phyllis (Ted) Hill Chance of Cortez, CO, Margi Buzzetta of St. Louis, MO, Carmen (Jim) Winpigler of Cave Springs, AR, Dione (Dwayne) Plaster of Pittsburg, MO, Lisa Malawey of Albuquerque, NM; one son, Randall (Laurie) Hill of Enoch, Utah, two brothers, Charles Malawey of Biehle, MO, John (Mary) Malawey of Kokomo, IN; five grandchildren, Stephanie Buzzetta, Amanda Buzzetta, Emma Buzzetta, Rebecca Hill and Veronica Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Randall G. Hill; three brothers, Eugene, James and Stanley Malawey; four sisters, Marcella Sherman, Sr. Thecla, Clare Wente and Regina Currall.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.  Visitation will continue on Tuesday, April 19, 2022  from

9:30 am – 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City, MO.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City with Rev. Matthew Cheruparambil officiating.

Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO, on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 10:15 am.
