COVID-19 cases fall in Mo, Perry Co., rise in Ste. Genevieve Co.

JEFFERSON CITY — The number of new COVID-19 cases is down in the state of Missouri and down in Perry County, but up in Ste. Genevieve County according to the latest figures from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

 

The state agency reports the number of confirmed and probable cases statewide for the past seven days was 879, down 527 or 37 percent from the previous week’s total of 1,406.

 

In Perry County there were zero new cases during the past week, compared to three the week before.

 

In Ste. Genevieve County there were five new cases during the past week, compared to zero the week before.

 

The Department of Health and Senior Services reports the state is 55.7 percent fully vaccinated.
