Saul Louis Escobar

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 for 40-year-old Saul Louis Escobar of Festus who passed away March 28, 2022, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur.

 

He was born March 20, 1982, in Belleville, Ill., the son of Jose Saul Escobar of Arlington, Texas, and Linette Marie Esparza of Festus.



In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Chrystalyne (Fitzpatrick) Escobar; four sons: David (Kayla Woody) Prater of Cahokia, Ill., Dominic Escobar of Festus, Ian Escobar of Festus and Joseph Escobar of Festus; two daughters: Aaliyah (Jacob) Fischer and Nevaeh Escobar, both of Festus; two brothers: Samuel (Belinda) Escobar of Festus and Nicholas Escobar of Ste. Genevieve; and two grandsons: Samuel J. and Emmett J. Fischer.

 

He was preceded in death by his stepfather: Brent Newton; his grandmother: Sara Esparza; his grandfather: Louis Esparza; an uncle: Gino Esparza; and two cousins: Starr Paul and Baby Jacob.

 

Escobar attended Trinity Baptist Church.

 

He enjoyed spending time with his children and family and cooking.

 

Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St. in De Soto.

 

A celebration of life for 40-year-old Saul Louis Escobar of Festus will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in, De Soto, officiated by Pastor Ed Carter.

 

Burial will be in the Peaceful Ridge Mausoleum in De Soto. Memorials may be made to Mid-America Transplant Services, 1900 W. 47th Place, Suite 400, Westwood, KS 66205.
