High school art show to be held this weekend

STE. GENEVIEVE – The work of young artists from Ste. Genevieve County will be on display this weekend at the Sainte Genevieve Art Guild’s Annual High School Art Show. 

 

The student exhibit will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, and Sunday, April 9 at the Guild’s headquarters–the Ste. Genevieve Art Center and Museum, located at 310 Merchant Street.

 

The winner of this year’s $500 Bette Geraghty Memorial Scholarship will be announced at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, along with the winners of cash prizes for first, second and third place in the art competition.

 

The annual competition is open to students from the county’s two high schools and students who are homeschooled.
