JEFFERSON CITY — A 29-year-old Farmington woman suffered serious injuries in a traffic crash on Old Route TT in Ste. Genevieve County Saturday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 29-year-old Caleb D. Hinchey was taken to Barnes Jewish Hospital by an Air Evac helicopter.
The patrol says Hinchey was the driver of a southbound 2004 Yamaha Raptor which failed to yield and collided head on with a northbound 2018 Honda TRX driven by 29-year-old Corey J. Henson of French Village. Henson escaped injury.
The crash happened about 7:43 p.m. north of Highway 61.
The patrol says neither driver was wearing safety equipment.
Both vehicles were a total loss.
