The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) developed a Water Sector Guide to Telecommunications During Power Outages (to be published in spring 2022) to help water utilities diversify their telecommunications plans and equipment and help ensure they can continue to communicate with employees, response partners, and customers during a prolonged power outage.
