JEFFERSON CITY — Two Perryville teens, one boy aged 15 and a girl aged 17, suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash on Highway 61 in Ste. Genevieve County Wednesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the two were taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.
The patrol says the crash happened when a southbound 2014 Buick Regal driven by the girl skidded and ran off the left side of the roadway, striking a tree.
The patrol says both teens were buckled up.
The crash happened about 5:05 p.m. north of Route M.
