A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 for 67-year-old Mark A. Eggemeyer of Ellis Grove, Ill., who passed away at 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at his residence.
He was born January 6, 1955 in Red Bud, the son of Rolland L. Eggemeyer who preceded him in deat and Rose A. (nee Brewer) Eggemeyer who survives in Ellis Grove.
He is also survived by a daughter: Amanda (Kevin) Eggemeyer McCubbin of Forest Park, Ill.; two brothers: R. L. Eggemeyer of Ellis Grove and Randy (Deborah) Eggemeyer of Chester, Ill.; two grandchildren: Kolten and Everly McCubbin and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Deborah Eggemeyer and a nephew: Blake Bland.
Mark had worked at Weber Farm in Sparta, Ill., Consolation Coal Mine in Schuline, Illinois, construction work in California.
In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars and tractors. He also enjoyed Nascar.
He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois and the Chester Eagles.
A graveside service for: 67-year-old Mark A. Eggemeyer of Ellis Grove will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Ellis Grove City Cemetery. The Rev. Phillip Keeton will officiate.
Memorials may be given to the Ellis Grove Fire Department in Mark’s memory and are being
accepted at the funeral home.
