JEFFERSON CITY — Two persons were hurt in a traffic crash on Highway 32 in Ste. Genevieve County Tuesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 55-year-old Donna Bieser of Farmington had serious injuries and 19-year-old Austin L. Capps of Ste. Genevieve had moderate injuries. Bieser was taken to SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital by Air Evac helicopter. Capps was taken to Mercy Jefferson Hospital by Ste. Genevieve County ambulance.
The patrol says the crash happened when a westbound 2015 Kia Optima driven by Bieser crossed the center of the roadway and struck the front of an eastbound 1998 Chevrolet 1500 GMC driven by Capps which then traveled off the roadway and overturned.
Both drivers were reported to be buckled up.
The crash happened about 3:48 p.m. west of Joggerst.
