PERRYVILLE – Hello and if I haven’t met you, I am Glendon Sattler and you will see my name on your ballot April 5th for Perry County School District 32 board member.

I am thankful for a process that allows you to vote for a member of your school’s board of education.  It is an important role that I do not take lightly.  You send your kids there 7+ hours per day and give 64% of your personal property taxes to give our students a great education. I would be honored to serve you with your vote.

My characteristics are similar to other candidates.

  • Children in Perryville
  • Small business owner
  • Volunteer as preschool vision screener with the Perryville Lions Club
  • Support non-profit United Enterprises LLC as board director in their goal of “providing meaningful employment to individuals with disabilities.”
  • Provide $1,500 scholarships to a senior at both St Vincent and Perryville High School.
  • A commitment to Excellence in Education at PCSD 32

But I want to be distinct in giving you these commitments:

  • Most Important!! For Parents and Grandparents- uphold your family values, retain your CHOICE and your voice within the school.
  • For Students- provide best tools, resources, and opportunity for success after High School
  • For Teachers and Staff- schedule regular open-door sessions to bring concerns and issues.
  • For the Current board-work with you and challenge the board with the goal of excellence in education with new Ideas and new Prospective
  • For Community Members-Keep our board independent and reflection of our great community
