A funeral will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 for 56-year-old William “Bill” J. Hotop of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at St. Louis University Hospital.
He was born November 2, 1965 in Perryville, the son of Bernard and Bonnie (Moll) Hotop-Ehlers. Bernard preceded him in death.
He is survived by his step father: John Ehlers of Perryville; five brothers: Scott (Tammy) Oberndorfer of Gloucester, Virginia, and Michael Hotop, Mark (Kelly) Hotop, Matthew (Megan) Hotop and Jason (Tina) Hotop, all of Perryville; nieces and nephews: Josh, Ethan, Shawn, Shelby, Courtney, Brittany, Dustin, Case, Madison, Charley, Summer and Julia, and great nieces and nephews: Brody, Axton, Blayden and Anna and his best friend Smokey.
Bill was owner/operator of Bill’s Place for 30 years.
He was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle, Son of the AmVets and Knights of Columbus .
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022 and 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 with Rosary at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 56-year-old William “Bill” J. Hotop of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle with Rev. Patrick Christoper officiating.
Burial will be at St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery in Biehle.
