A funeral will be held Thursday for 86-year-old Peggy E. Webb of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, Mo.
She was born October 14, 1935 in Sainte Genevieve, the daughter of Cecil Vineyard and Sylvia (Ransom) Vineyard, who both preceded her in death.
She married Bobby G. Webb December 22, 1962. He survives in Ste. Genevieve.
She is also survived by two sons: Jerry M. (Sandy) Coalter and Robert W. (Sandra) Coalter both of Sainte Genevieve; a daughter: Toni A. (Craig) Kercher of Houston, Tex.; eight grandchildren: Laura (Chad) Parker, Jason (Leslie) Coalter; Jeremy (Samantha) Coalter, Amanda Coalter; Robert (Joyce) Coalter Jr., Michael (Chrissy) Coalter; Claire Clark, and Nathan Kercher; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son: Teddy R. Coalter; and two brothers: Ted Sampson and J.T. Sampson.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2022 and 8-10 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve.
She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Delta Cappa Gamma and First Presbyterian Church of Ste. Genevieve.
Peggy taught 32 years for Ste. Genevieve R-II School and she loved gardening and sitting and admiring her koi pond and waterfall.
A funeral for 86-year-old Peggy E. Webb of Sainte Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Steve Mathews will officiate.
Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve.
Memorials may be made to the Bobby G. Webb Library at Ste. Genevieve R-II Schools or to Shriners Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.
