PERRYVILLE – Perryville High School’s Silver Dagger Drama Club will present “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” this month.
Performances will be held in the Old Senior High Performing Arts Auditorium at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 24 through Saturday, March 26. Tickets are available at the door for $7 per person, aged two and up.
“This is a great family show,” said director Jennifer Birk-Cook. “It is the beloved story of Charlie Bucket, a boy from a poor but loving family, who finds a Golden Ticket to the chocolate factory owned by inventor Willy Wonka. Charlie goes on this adventure with his grandpa Joe, and they experience amazing and magical things. The running time is about 75 minutes with one intermission. There will be an area in the front for families to bring blankets to sit on with young children if desired.”
