CHESTER – Beth Tickner, former pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Chester, returned to her former pulpit Sunday February 27 to fill the pulpit of current pastor, Jim Oppedal, when he was out of town on a special missionary effort in New Orleans.
Tickner, now retired, served at FUMC Chester for eight years from 2002-2008.
She now serves at Henderson Settlement, “A Mission Agency of the United Methodist Church within the Red Bird Missionary Conference”, in Frakes, Kentucky.
