Bernetta L. Heberlie, age 88, of Perryville, MO, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born June 3, 1933 in Ste. Genevieve, MO, daughter of Oliver Joseph and Estella Ann Kohm Martin. She and Marcellis F. Heberlie were united in marriage on July 16, 1949 and he passed away May, 26, 2007.
Bernetta retired from Prince Gardner and was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Perryville, MO.
Survivors include four sons Frederick (Nancy) Heberlie of Perryville, MO, Robert (Mary) Heberlie of Chester, IL, Gary Heberlie of Patton, MO, Donald (Debbie) Heberlie of Covington, VA, five daughters Barbara Schumer of Sarasota, FL, Jeannie Whistler of Perryville, MO, Deborah Dippold of Sparta, IL, Christine (Michael) Callier of Perryville, MO, Diane (Gregg) Thurau of Perryville, MO and half-sister Kay Kendall of St. Charles, MO, eighteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were Marcellis, parents, brother Oliver Joseph Martin Jr, and sisters, Dorothy Napier, Virginia Bell, Patricia Heberlie, and Shirley Ochs.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 3, 2022 in Sereno. Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO was in charge of the arrangements.
