PERRYVILLE – While we slept on Wednesday night February 23, 2022 Russia invaded Ukraine.
While we slept the largest attack, the largest invasion occurred on a sovereign nation in Europe since WWII.
Missiles and bombs rained down on Ukrainian cities.
Columns of Russian troops poured across the border.
Ukraine’s president Zelenskiy said, “Russia has embarked on a path of evil, but Ukraine is defending itself and won’t give up its freedom, no matter what Moscow thinks”.
This is an unprovoked and unjustified attack.
This invasion is not about land, oil or natural resources. It is about freedom!
Ukraine has embraced the definition of American freedom because it results in unprecedented opportunity for all people.
The world and Ukraine is looking for America to lead.
Let’s all pray for America’s leaders as we will have to make bold decisions NOW!
Men and women in uniform from Missouri and all across America stand right on the front line, the tip of the spear, they are probably very cold, tired, and emotionally exhausted. They are very far from home but they stand to defend America and our friends and allies. To defend Freedom!
