SGCMH implements a faster, safer pre-registration process

STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. – Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is always looking for ways to make getting care easier and more convenient.  Now patients can save time and stay safe with the new SGCMH pre-registration system.

The process makes your next hospital appointment much easier.  You can pre-register at home or anywhere you can access your email. Once pre-registered, on appointment day, it cuts down the time spent in admitting significantly.

“Our new patient registration program, the Interlace Health Patient Intake Solution, decreases the amount of time you spend in hospital registration and helps your visit run smoother,” says Judy Schmieder, BSN, RN, director of clinical informatics at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. “It allows patients to pre-register for hospital appointments before they arrive.”

HOW IT WORKS

When you schedule an appointment at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital, you’ll get an email containing a secure link that allows you to review insurance, privacy, and demographic information before your visit. You can also upload updated pictures of your driver’s license and insurance cards. The information is safely transferred to your medical record, where it’s accessible by our registration staff when you arrive for your appointment. You will still stop at registration for a short check-in with staff. They will check for any additional testing and get your visit started. Your registration will be fast, easy and on time.

The program is being implemented at the hospital and later it will be rolled out to the clinics.
