A funeral will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 for 79-year-old Margaret A. Dippold of Perryville, who passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born May 16, 1942 in Tamaroa, Ill. to Albert Ray and Katherine (Zettler) Harris who both preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son: Larry (Mary) Richardson; two daughters: Joyce Howell-Cox and Alison (Doug) Jerran; three brothers: Gary (Sabrina) Harris, Kenny (Linda) Harris and James (Becky) Harris; a sister: Norma Vancil; a sister-in-law: Mary Harris; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband: Eugene George Richardson; her second husband: Herbert O. Dippold; a brother: Allen Harris; and a brother-in-law: Bill Vancil.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
She loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens, playing bingo, sewing and crafting.
She also enjoyed participating in activities at the Independence Care Center.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2022 and 8-10 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2022 at the Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 79-year-old Margaret A. Dippold will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate.
Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery in DuQuoin, Ill.
Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
