SGCMH conducts its 23rd annual Women’s Health Fair, a virtual affair for the second year

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital will be conducting its 2022 Women’s Health Fair virtually, this week on the hospital’s website.

 

The theme of the this year’s fair is “What’s New in 2022.”

 

The website will introduce and highlight virtual presenters and activities for participants.

 

“Join us at stegenevievehospital.org as we connect with the women of our communities to make their health and wellness a priority. Men are welcome to join the excitement! There will be video presentations from our health care professionals, health information, resources, vendor discounts and giveaways,” a hospital official commented.

 

What’s new?

 

Dr. Bosner is presenting a video on heart health with a KardiaMobile device.

 

Dr. Sharlow discusses colon cancer and what you can do to stay healthy.

 

Mary Crecelius, MSN, WHNP, APNG, CCBE, and Debbie Raney, MSN, FNP-BC, will provide some great information on Genetic Testing.

 

Learn about alternative procedures to total knee replacements with Dr. Jesse Beard and

 

Laura Selby, RDN, will conduct a healthy cooking demo.

 

The excitement continues with a brief exercise video with Estrella Carmona, County Engagement Specialist in Nutrition and Health Education.

Shop and create your personalized screening pack for a healthier you!

 

Schedule one or all of the screenings you qualify for that includes Fit Screening ($15), Heart Score ($50), TriScan Pac ($80), Lung Cancer ($50), and Bone Density ($50). If you are out and about stop by the hospital Monday, Wednesday or Friday, from 8 am-2 pm to get your blood pressure checked in our Cardiac Rehab gym.

“Participants can follow the virtual path and get enlightened with health, beauty, fashion, fitness, food, home and financial tips,” commented Tina Poston, director of Marketing, SGCMH. “There will be lots to see and do, all from the comforts of home.”

 

There will be daily attendance prize drawings throughout the week, as well as, three $500 grand prize drawings graciously provided by Lakenan Insurance and the SGCMH Medical Staff. Daily drawing winners will be announced on Facebook the following morning by 10a. Grand Prize drawings on Monday, March 1.

 

You can do a little each day or a lot in one day, either way you can increase your chances of winning by simply participating.
