A celebration of life will be held at a later date for 79-year-old Dick Langeneckert of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus, Mo.
He was born November 28, 1942 in Sainte Genevieve, the son of Joseph Langeneckert and Norma (Johanson) Langeneckert, who both preceded him in death.
He married Glenda (Trautman) Langeneckert March 30, 1968. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by four sons: Rodney Langeneckert of Hillsboro, Mo., Curt Langeneckert of Weingarten, Mo., Glennon (Kelly) Langeneckert of Lake Forest, Mo., and Adam (Tiffany) Langeneckert of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a brother: Joseph (Barb) Langeneckert; nine grandchildren: Chelsea, Amanda, Emma, Koby, Madison, Mason, Blake, Kase, Brennen and one great-granddaughter, Adelynn
He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Langeneckert and Norman Langeneckert; three sisters: Blossom Hogenmiller, Fern Greer and Joyce Langeneckert.
Dick loved the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and gardening were his passion.
He loved his grandkids.
